Cinners the Conquerors — when our health campaign engages the athlete insides members
Cinners the Conquerors
Do you know that exercises do not only help us stronger physically but also get smarter? And we should all admit that health is far more precious than wealth. In Cinnamon, we truly understand the meaning of health to members, sitting continuously for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week is not a thing we suggest to do. We know the importance of a balanced lifestyle between work and work-out. To us, happy members are the first priority and they are the foundation of a sustainable business.
Previously, we had already observed the harm of “office work” on our members: it was a high rate of members that have health problems such as degenerative spine, neck and shoulder pain, lower quality of sleep, gaining weight, and poor eyesight, etc. Even our young members in their early 20s. This might be the consequence of bad habits of their daily activities both at work and at home such as sitting and looking at the computer screen for too long, not working out, eating junk food, and the harmful environment of the cities. Although it is familiar to the young of Vietnam as well as the urban society, as an employer, we know it has to be changed.
Starting from June 2019, the health campaign of Cinnamon AI has increased the number of members as well as extracurricular clubs. We have 6 officially registered clubs from yoga, gym, badminton, football, jogging to books (for mental health). We maintain them to be individual/ team-work activities, indoor and outdoor, and fixed/ flexible time for members’ schedules. Overall, members’ feedback about the health campaign and the clubs that it contributed a great deal on the readiness of both mental and physical condition for a working day.
No business encourages you to spend money and time on physical (and mental) activities whether it affects work. As businesses and labor rights develop in general and in the context of the people-centric mindset of several radical companies, Cinnamon is proud to be one of the few that promote a health campaign in our community. Cinnamon is always about people-centric philosophy, our members are encouraged to leverage their professional, network and health because a strong collective starts with strong individuals. And the next action would be, we expect to hold our own Olympics one day.
